Introduction

My first heatmap went live on Etsy in late 2018. Since then, it's been quite an evolution, from pure Excel to R and finally to full automation in Python.

This summer, a customer ordered a 2022 heatmap. When I emailed it to her, she mentioned she was planning to post it to her social network. Little did I know that she has quite a following for her Instagram account on Medieval cross-stitch. Five orders shortly followed.
